different camera angels

WALT: Explain a variety of camera angels used to make a movie.

Today in music i have to blog about 4 different camera angels.

1. Close up.  A close up shot is when you take a photo of someone close up.






2. The over shoulder shot is when you take a photo over someones shoulder.



3. Zoom out camera angel is when you zoom out so it looks like your far away.









4. The low camera angel is when you take a photo from the ground.

National young leaders day.

On Thursday 30th may 10 year sevens and eights went to  the national young leaders day to be inspired. We got to listen to leaders speak suck as Ronnie Taulafo, Kings and Sala Tiatia.  The leaders talked about their past they also talked about hard times and how they got through those hard times.  My favourite speaker was probably Kings because he talked about how he filmed/edited a music video on his phone called don't worry about it.  He also sang the song don't worry about it.  Here are some photos of what we did when we were at National Young Leaders Day.

Hurumanu The white powder experiment.

Today you will be a Forensic Chemist. 

A bag of white powder has been confiscated by the airport customs.  You need to find out what white powder it is?

Aim: To learn about the makeup of different white powders.

There are  a number of different white powders in our everyday life. Some of these are harmful and others are not. Test the four white powders listed to see which one has been found at the airport.

You will be given a small amount of 4 white powders on your cardboard. On the black cardboard using a magnifying glass look at the powders.

Look at them under your magnifying glass and record what you see. 

These are the four powders we will be using. Upload a photo of each powder. 

1.  Cornflour
2.  Baking Soda
3.  Salt
4.  Sugar 

Before you add the iodine, vinegar or water you will need to divide each powder into 3.

Materials

1.  card board
2.  Iodine
3. vinegar 
4.  pipette
5.  water
6.  baking soda
7.  salt 
8.  sugar
9.cornflour.


Steps

1. Fold the card board into four.
2. Then put a tea spoon of baking soda,salt,sugar and cornflour onto each square of  your cardboard.
3. Then divide the powders into three.
4. Then put three drops of ,Iodine,vinegar and water into each powder. 
5. Then watch what happens. 

Findings:

Iodine	The iodine melts into the sugar and gives it a golden colour.	The iodine melts into the salt and gives it a golden colour.	The iodine rolled off the baking soda.	The iodine melted in.
Water	The water melted in.	the water melted in.	The water rolled off.	The water melted in then it went hard.
Vinegar	The vinegar melted into the sugar.	The vinegar melts into the salt.	The baking soda fizzed when i dropped the vinegar onto the baking soda	The vinegar just stayed on the top of the cornflour then it went dry.

Write a conclusion about your findings. ( 4 plus sentences)
The sugar,salt,baking soda and the cornflour was white the texture of the sugar and salt was large but the baking soda was medium and the cornflour texture was small.  None of the powders had a smell.  The iodine melted into the sugar and salt and gave it a golden colour.  The iodine rolled off the baking soda.  Then the iodine melted into the cornflour.  The water melted into the sugar and the salt. But the water rolled off the baking soda.  Then the water melted into the cornflour then the water went dry.  The vinegar melted-into the salt.  Then the vinegar made the baking soda fizz.  The vinegar just stayed on the top of the cornflour.

Hurumanu Science aerodynamics

FLIGHT

Aim: To learn about flight and aerodynamics. 

• In your groups of 3 you will make a paper plane and measure its distance and behaviour.
• In groups of 3 you will make a water rocket and record its distance and behaviour. 

Definition: Aerodynamics is a object that is able to move throw air.


4 forces of flight:

1.  Gravity
2.  Thrust
3.  Lift 
4.  Drag

Paper Plane:

Material:

1. paper 
2. paper clip

Steps:
1.Fold the paper in half vertically. 
2.Unfold the paper then fold the top edges into the centre line 
3.Fold the paper in half vertically then fold the left and right sides to make wings.

Findings:

Normal	2.9	Curves to the side.
Flaps	2.3	Curves to the side.
Paper clip	2.8	Straight.

Conclusion:Today in science we did an experiment about paper planes.  We had to create a paper plane then throw it.  We also had to measure how far the plane went and the behaviour of the way the plane flew and as you can see on the findings table we tried 3 different strategies .  The first strategy was just trying to make the plane fly normally.  The second strategy was trying to make the plane fly with flaps and the last strategy was trying to make the plane fly with a paper clip. 
But over all I really enjoyed today science lesson.  

Cyber smart reflection

What did I learn at cyber smart.  I learnt how to google In a fast way instead or writing a whole sentence I learnt to just write the main parts of your question. I also learnt about the summer learning journey the summer learning journey is a program and you can do activities on the program you  can also do blog posts but you have to do it in the holidays.  If you do a good blog post or finish activities you can win prizes like drones and even a crime book.  So that's the summer learning journey. What was my favourite thing in cyber smart this year, I enjoyed blogging about all the stuff I learnt in cyber smart like even learning how to do a quilty blog post.  Something i don't really enjoy. I don't like it when I have a little amount of time to do a blog post.  Somethings my cyber smart teacher does well Miss Morgan is really good at teaching students and adults about technology and how to use technology in a good way.

Science Road Show

Today at period 1-2 my class and 7tz got to go and do some science experiments and learn about different kinds of experiences at the science road show.

This is a image of Waisea and I it shows you what your temperature is.  My body temperature was 29 degrees  .

There was all sorts of  science experiments that we could do like there was a bike and you had to try beat this skeleton on a bike and it was pretty fun.
