The All Blacks CIP

Today in Cip we had to write a little bit of a reflection about the all blacks.  We had to write down what we already now about the all blacks, what we want to know and what I found out.
We had to do this reflection so we could create a video of why we like the all blacks.  I didnt know much about the all blacks but know that we have been doing research I know much more.

Conclusion:I enjoyed learning about the all blacks because now I know how successfull they are.
One of the challenges I had was writing down what I already know about the all blacks but over all I really enjoyed learning about the all blacks.

Hurumanu Art

For art hurumanu we are planning to make a 1 minute stop motion movie

Who is in your group?
Aisa,Paea and myself.

What are your roles?
Aisas role is the camera man,Paea is the directer and I am the drawer.

How does your story show namaakitango?
The good part of namaakitango in our story is kindness and the bad part is bullying.
Our story is also about a fish that is getting chased by a big shark and then a big blue whale comes and tells him to stop bullying and why its not good to bully.

Place Value

LO: I can demonstrate  my knowledge of place value.

This term in maths interchange we have been learning place value here is a little google drawing that I created.

After the decimal there is no ones or units column. The first column after the decimal is called the tenths column. The second column is the hundredths and the third column is the thousandths column.

KIds can charity

Today in CIP we have been researching about kids can and what they do for our community.

Kids can are a charity for kids to year 1 to year 13.  They help children that are in need with clothes shoes and they also fund raise food.  They do this to help kids turn up to school so they can get a good education. There are over 27 million food items provided, 170,000 shoes

345,000 rain coats and 341,000 socks provided.

Cip Kids Can Mufti Day.

Today in CIP we have been planning a mufti day to fundraiser for kids can.

What have we planned this morning? 
We have planned what kind of mufti day we are going to do and we came
up with Radical rainbow day and we also made a poster.

What was your # Crazy Kids Can idea,how did you come up with it? 
My group came up with dark day were you wear dark clothes. 

Share two facts about kids can, what do they do?  
The apply kids with school shoes and clothes.

What role would you like to have in the mufti day?  I'm not sure yet.

What are you looking forward to with this project? 
Not wearing my school uniform.

What might be a challenge with this project?
Finding rainbow coloured clothes because I usually only wear dark clothes.

Today in Digital Tech we have to list what I know about Digital Tech,what I don't know about Digital Tech and what I think digital tech is going to be about.

What I know about Digital Tech.

I know how to use a Chromebook.

I know how to use a cellphone.

I know how to use I Movie. 

I know how to  make a blog post.

What I don't know about digital tech.

I don't know how to program a robot.

I don't know how to make a app.

I don't know how to make a game.

What I think digital tech is going to be about.

I  think in Digital Tech we will learn how to use different devices.

Tuesday 26th reflection-play back

What game did I find challenging and why?
I found bench ball challenging because it was hard to work as a team with people that I haven't really worked with before.

One of the goals was to listen .... What skills do you need to have to be a good listener?
You're paying attention to the person talking and you're not talking when the person is talking.


What communication skills do I need when playing bench ball?
You need to be patient with the people that don't really know how to play.  You also need to work as a team with your teammates.

What skills do I need to work on for my next lesson?
I need to try communicate with my team and try include everyone.

What is a personal goal that I need to work on?
My goal is to give everyone a go and to share the ball with everyone.
