Passion project stone carving.

Today at stone carving I had to make a plan and on that I had to draw a Maori symbol or design.
I also had to explain what  the symbol/design meaning hear is a photo of my design.
This design is called the fish hook it signifies strength it is worn for catching good luck it can be worn for protection in travel and especially over water.

  1. Kia ora Blake! I am glad we were able to sort out your blog this afternoon. As promised, I am here to leave a comment on the work you did.

I like how you made a clear drawing of the fish hook and provided an explanation to what it represents. I wonder, how does this reflect Hornby High School or how could you incorporate this meaning into a piece about our school?

Well done on your blogging efforts today!
