I am a student at in Uru MÄnuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Today at stone carving Waisea Levi Bryce and I are making a Maori design called the fish hook.
We will use our imagination and hope we get the job to do. We will try our best and do the work. Here is a photo of what we have done so far.
I like how you included the picture of your sketch. This looks more like a manaia than a fishhook, and I think that was the feedback from Mr Mitchell also. What do you think you could change to make it resemble a fish hook better?
